FOR CAPITAL IMPROVEMENTS IN MCKINLEY, SAN JUAN AND SANTA FE COUNTIES.

 

 

I request that the following capital outlay projects be funded:

 

to the department of environment

 

fifty thousand dollars ($50,000) to expand the wastewater treatment plant in Gallup in McKinley county; and

 

thirty-five thousand dollars ($35,000) to plan, design and construct a wastewater system, including a monitoring well and related repairs, for the Williams Acres water and sanitation district in McKinley county; and

 

• to the New Mexico office of Indian affairs

 

one hundred thousand dollars ($100,000) to plan, design and construct a police substation in the Rock Springs chapter of the Navajo Nation in McKinley county;

 

ten thousand dollars ($10,000) to plan, design and construct a lifelong learning center at the institute of American Indian arts in Santa Fe county;

 

fifty thousand dollars ($50,000) to plan, design, construct and rehabilitate the existing building for future classroom space at Navajo preparatory school in San Juan county; and

 

ninety thousand dollars ($90,000) for a concession stand, including restrooms and a pantry, at Navajo Pine high school in Navajo in McKinley county; and

 

fifty thousand dollars ($50,000) for a water line extension, including clearances, right-of-way acquisition and construction, in the Crystal chapter of the Navajo Nation in San Juan county.
