IN LOVINGTON IN LEA COUNTY.
I request that the following capital
outlay projects be funded:
• to the state agency on aging
one hundred seventy-five thousand dollars
($175,000) for building an exercise room for the Lovington senior center in
Lovington in Lea county; and
one million dollars ($1,000,000) for the
construction of an aquatic and fitness center for seniors in Lovington in Lea
county;
•
to the department of environment
fifty thousand dollars ($50,000) for the
replacement of water lines in Lovington in Lea county; and
one hundred seventy-five thousand dollars
($175,000) for the purchase of a wastewater vacuum truck for Lovington in Lea
county;
•
to the state highway and transportation department
four hundred thousand dollars ($400,000)
for street repair and improvements in Lovington in Lea county; and
•
to the local government division of the department of finance and
administration
one hundred twenty-five thousand dollars
($125,000) for repair and replacement of the roof and floor of the youth center
in Lovington in Lea county;
one hundred thousand dollars ($100,000)
for the purchase of land and the design and construction of a soccer complex in
Lovington in Lea county;
four hundred thousand dollars ($400,000)
for the renovation, replacement and improvement to equipment, picnic grounds,
restrooms and the entrance to Chaparral park in Lovington in Lea county to
comply with the requirements of the Americans with Disabilities Act of 1990;
and
one hundred twenty-five thousand dollars
($125,000) for the purchase of a street sweeper for the street department of
Lovington in Lea county.
