SENATE CAPITAL OUTLAY REQUEST 87

REQUESTED BY John Pinto

FOR ROAD YARDS, HIGHWAY MAINTENANCE FACILITIES AND ROAD EQUIPMENT FOR THE CHAPTERS OF THE NAVAJO NATION IN NORTHWEST NEW MEXICO.

I request that the following capital outlay projects be funded:

• to the New Mexico office of Indian affairs

three hundred thousand dollars ($300,000) to expand, improve and construct road yards and highway maintenance facilities for the chapters of the Navajo Nation in northwest New Mexico; and

five hundred thousand dollars ($500,000) to purchase road equipment for chapters of the Navajo Nation in northwest New Mexico.
