SENATE CAPITAL OUTLAY REQUEST 1080

STATE OF NEW MEXICO

46TH LEGISLATURE - FIRST SESSION - 2003

REQUESTED BY Kent L. Cravens

FOR CAPITAL PROJECTS FOR THE NEW MEXICO MILITARY INSTITUTE IN ROSWELL IN CHAVES COUNTY.

I request that the following capital outlay projects be funded:

• to the board of regents of New Mexico military institute

thirteen thousand dollars ($13,000) to purchase bleachers for the Godfrey athletic center at the New Mexico military institute in Roswell in Chaves county;

eighteen thousand dollars ($18,000) to purchase bleachers for the Colt football field at the New Mexico military institute in Roswell in Chaves county;

fourteen thousand dollars ($14,000) to purchase a scoreboard for the Bronco and Colt baseball complex at the New Mexico military institute in Roswell in Chaves county;

eight thousand five hundred dollars ($8,500) to purchase basketball scoreboards for Cahoon armory at the New Mexico military institute in Roswell in Chaves county;

one thousand five hundred dollars ($1,500) to purchase storage compartments for wrestling mats at the New Mexico military institute in Roswell in Chaves county;

twelve thousand dollars ($12,000) to pave the dirt area around the press box at the Bronco and Colt baseball complex at the New Mexico military institute in Roswell in Chaves county;

two thousand five hundred dollars ($2,500) to improve the Colt junior varsity locker room at the New Mexico military institute in Roswell in Chaves county;

thirty-two thousand dollars ($32,000) to resurface the Godfrey hardball courts at the New Mexico military institute in Roswell in Chaves county; and

one hundred thousand dollars ($100,000) to improve the golf course, including access road resurfacing, exterior surface improvement and interior renovation at the golf course at the New Mexico military institute in Roswell in Chaves county.
