SENATE CAPITAL OUTLAY REQUEST 21

STATE OF NEW MEXICO

46TH LEGISLATURE - FIRST SESSION - 2003

REQUESTED BY Dianna J. Duran

FOR CAPITAL PROJECTS IN TULAROSA IN OTERO COUNTY.

I request that the following capital outlay projects be funded:

• to the state agency on aging

forty-five thousand four hundred seventy-four dollars ($45,474) to plan and design a senior center in Tularosa in Otero county;

• to the state highway and transportation department

two hundred fifty thousand dollars ($250,000) to improve the streets of Tularosa in Otero county;

• to the local government division of the department of finance and administration

four hundred fifty thousand dollars ($450,000) to construct, equip and furnish a safety facility and municipal court building in Tularosa in Otero county;

three hundred fifty thousand dollars ($350,000) to renovate and equip the Tularosa fire department in Otero county;

five hundred twenty-nine thousand fifty-five dollars ($529,055) to plan and design a boys' and girls' club recreation facility in Tularosa in Otero county; and

one hundred thousand dollars ($100,000) to purchase and install playground equipment for parks in Tularosa in Otero county; and

• to the office of the state engineer

three hundred sixty-five thousand dollars ($365,000) to design and plan a reservoir in Tularosa in Otero county; and

four hundred twenty-two thousand two hundred fifty dollars ($422,250) to plan, design and construct a water storage tank in Tularosa in Otero county.
