SENATE CAPITAL OUTLAY REQUEST 79

46TH LEGISLATURE - FIRST SESSION - 2003

REQUESTED BY Timothy Z. Jennings

FOR DESIGNING AND CONSTRUCTING A REGIONAL FIRE TRAINING CENTER AND FOR IMPROVEMENTS TO ONE-HALF MILE OF ATKINSON ROAD IN CHAVES COUNTY.

I request that the following capital outlay projects be funded:

• to the state highway and transportation department

five hundred thousand dollars ($500,000) to improve one-half mile of Atkinson road, including paving, widening and building curbs and gutters, in Chaves county; and

• to the local government division of the department of finance and administration

four hundred thousand dollars ($400,000) to design and construct a regional fire training center in Chaves county.
