SEVERANCE TAX BOND APPROPRIATION AND REAUTHORIZING AND APPROPRIATING FOR
IMPROVEMENTS AT THE ELEPHANT BUTTE NORTH AREA WASTEWATER FACILITY IN SIERRA
COUNTY.
The project authorized in Subsection 400
of Section 22 of Chapter 110 of Laws 2002 to the local government division of
the department of finance and administration for an engineering feasibility
study for the lower Rio Grande water users' organization sustainable water
project in Dona Ana county is void. The
state board of finance may issue and sell severance tax bonds upon
certification by the department of environment that the need exists for the
issuance of the bonds in the amount of one thousand dollars ($1,000) to the
department of environment to purchase land and make infrastructure improvements
for the Elephant Butte north area wastewater facility in Sierra county.
