FOR PURCHASING A BACKHOE AND FRONT-END LOADER FOR THE NENAHNEZAD CHAPTER OF THE NAVAJO NATION AND CONSTRUCTING A FIRE AND RESCUE BUILDING IN THE SAN JUAN CHAPTER COMPOUND IN SAN JUAN COUNTY.

I request that the following capital outlay projects be funded:

• to the New Mexico office of Indian affairs

seventy thousand dollars ($70,000) to purchase a backhoe and front-end loader for the Nenahnezad chapter of the Navajo Nation in San Juan county; and

three hundred thousand dollars ($300,000) to construct a fire and rescue building in the San Juan chapter compound in San Juan county.
