SENATE CAPITAL OUTLAY REQUEST 400

 

STATE OF NEW MEXICO

FOR CAPITAL PROJECTS IN SANTA FE COUNTY.

 

 

I request that the following capital outlay projects be funded:

 

to the state agency on aging

 

two hundred twenty-nine thousand dollars ($229,000) to plan, design and construct a senior center in Eldorado in Santa Fe county;

 

• to the department of environment

 

fifteen thousand dollars ($15,000) to extend and improve the Santa Fe county south sector water system;

 

one hundred twenty-five thousand dollars ($125,000) to plan, design, construct and purchase land for water system improvements for the Canoncito mutual domestic water consumers association in Santa Fe county; and

 

four hundred five thousand dollars ($405,000) to plan, design, engineer and construct a water line for the Agua Fria park in Santa Fe county;

 

• to the state highway and transportation department

 

one hundred thirty-five thousand dollars ($135,000) to pave and improve La Barbaria road in Santa Fe county;

 

two hundred seventy-five thousand dollars ($275,000) to pave and improve Monte Alto road in Eldorado in Santa Fe county;

 

one hundred thousand dollars ($100,000) to repave and improve Nine Mile road in Santa Fe county;

 

three hundred fifty thousand dollars ($350,000) to improve county road 74 in Santa Fe county;

 

one million dollars ($1,000,000) to improve Agua Fria road, including water line, sanitary sewer, drainage and paving improvements, in Agua Fria in Santa Fe county; and

 

fifty thousand dollars ($50,000) to plan, design and construct a low-water crossing for Camino Carlos Rael in Santa Fe county; and

 

• to the local government division of the department of finance and administration

 

one hundred fifty thousand dollars ($150,000) to plan, design and construct a community center in Agua Fria in Santa Fe county.
