Synopsis of HAGC Amendment

The House Agriculture and Water Resources Committee amendment to Senate Bill 742 corrects a spelling error.

Synopsis of Original Bill

Senate Bill 742 adds the Interstate Stream Commission to the governmental entities allowed to store water underground by the Ground Water Storage and Recovery.

Significant Issues

ISC states this bill would provide a method of water storage that would not be subject to unacceptable evaporative losses and give additional flexibility to ISC in storage options.
