SUMMARY

 

     Synopsis of Bill

 

House Bill 1 appropriates $682.1 from the Legislative Council Service cash balances to various legislative offices for the purpose of funding expenses of the first special session of the forty-sixth legislature.  This bill carries an emergency clause.

 

FISCAL IMPLICATIONS

 

As of August 2003, the cash balance for the Legislature was $5.2 million.  The appropriation of $682.1 contained in this bill is a nonrecurring expense in FY04.
