AN ACT

MAKING AN APPROPRIATION TO THE OFFICE OF CULTURAL AFFAIRS FOR A CHILDREN'S PERFORMING ARTS PROGRAM.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:

     Section 1. APPROPRIATION.--Seventy-five thousand dollars ($75,000) is appropriated from the general fund to the office of cultural affairs for expenditure in fiscal year 2005 to contract for children's performing arts program services with a nonprofit performing arts program that annually performs at least five plays by and for children. Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of fiscal year 2005 shall revert to the general fund.
