Mr. Speaker:

 

    Your BUSINESS AND INDUSTRY COMMITTEE, to whom has been referred

 

HOUSE BILL 111

 

has had it under consideration and reports same with recommendation that it DO PASS, amended as follows:

 

1. On page 7, line 21, after the semicolon strike "and".

 

     2. On page 7, between lines 21 and 22, insert the following new paragraph:

 

                "(4) whether the substance, material, compound, mixture or preparation is formulated to effectively prevent its conversion into an immediate precursor of a substance already controlled under the Controlled Substances Act; and".

 

     3. Renumber the succeeding paragraph accordingly.

 

     4. On page 10, line 15, strike "or".

 

     5. On page 10, line 21, after "board" strike the period and insert in lieu thereof a semicolon.

 

     6. On page 10, between lines 21 and 22, insert the following new paragraphs:

 

                "(5) a consumer who uses a drug precursor for its intended purpose and who does not use the drug precursor to manufacture a substance controlled under the Controlled Substances Act;

                (6) a pharmacy, an agent or employee of a pharmacy or a contractor for a pharmacy;

 

                (7) a pharmacist, an agent or employee of a pharmacist or a contractor for a pharmacist.”.,

 

and thence referred to the JUDICIARY COMMITTEE.
