    Your EDUCATION COMMITTEE, to whom has been referred

HOUSE BILL 353

has had it under consideration and reports same with recommendation that it DO PASS, amended as follows:

    1. On page 1, lines 15 and 16, strike “Six hundred forty-one thousand six hundred dollars ($641,600)” and insert in lieu thereof “Seventy-five thousand dollars ($75,000)”.

    2. On page 1, line 19, after “licensure.”, insert “The institution receiving the appropriation in this bill shall submit a program evaluation to the legislative finance committee and the commission on higher education by August 2007 detailing the benefits to the state of New Mexico from having implemented this program over a three year period.”,

and thence referred to the APPROPRIATIONS AND FINANCE COMMITTEE.
