AN ACT

MAKING AN APPROPRIATION FOR A CHARACTER EDUCATION PROGRAM IN THE ROSWELL PUBLIC SCHOOLS.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:

     Section 1. APPROPRIATION.--Twenty-five thousand dollars ($25,000) is appropriated from the general fund to the public education department for expenditure in fiscal year 2005 to fund a character education program in the Roswell public schools. Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of fiscal year 2005 shall revert to the general fund.
