AN ACT

MAKING AN APPROPRIATION FOR OPERATING EXPENSES OF KANW RADIO, OWNED BY THE ALBUQUERQUE PUBLIC SCHOOLS.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:

     Section 1. APPROPRIATION.--One hundred thousand dollars ($100,000) is appropriated from the general fund to the public education department for expenditure in fiscal year 2005 for the Albuquerque public schools to operate KANW radio station. Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of fiscal year 2005 shall revert to the general fund.
