AN ACT

MAKING AN APPROPRIATION TO THE NAVAJO VETERANS HOUSING ASSISTANCE PROGRAM.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:

     Section 1. APPROPRIATION.--One million seven hundred fifty thousand dollars ($1,750,000) is appropriated from the general fund to the New Mexico office of Indian affairs for expenditure in fiscal year 2005 to provide funding for a housing assistance program for Navajo veterans. Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of fiscal year 2005 shall revert to the general fund.
