AN ACT

MAKING AN APPROPRIATION FOR NEW IMAGING TECHNOLOGIES AT THE UNIVERSITY OF NEW MEXICO CANCER RESEARCH AND TREATMENT CENTER.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:

     Section 1. APPROPRIATION.--One hundred thousand dollars ($100,000) is appropriated from the general fund to the board of regents of the university of New Mexico for expenditure in fiscal year 2005 to purchase new imaging technologies for the university of New Mexico cancer research and treatment center. Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of fiscal year 2005 shall revert to the general fund.
