AN ACT

MAKING AN APPROPRIATION TO THE BOARD OF REGENTS OF THE UNIVERSITY OF NEW MEXICO FOR A FULL-DAY KINDERGARTEN PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT SUMMER INSTITUTE.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:

     Section 1. APPROPRIATION.--Thirty-five thousand dollars ($35,000) is appropriated from the general fund to the board of regents of the university of New Mexico for expenditure in fiscal year 2005 to collaborate with the Albuquerque public schools to present a full-day kindergarten professional development summer institute. Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of fiscal year 2005 shall revert to the general fund.
