AN ACT

MAKING AN APPROPRIATION TO INCREASE THE CAPACITY OF PRIMARY CARE CLINICS IN NEW MEXICO.

 

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:

     Section 1. APPROPRIATION.--One million two hundred thousand dollars ($1,200,000) is appropriated from the general fund to the department of health for expenditure in fiscal year 2005 to leverage federal funds to increase the capacity of primary care clinics in order to provide increased access to medical, dental and behavioral health services in New Mexico. Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of fiscal year 2005 shall revert to the general fund.
