AN ACT

MAKING AN APPROPRIATION FOR A CARDIOVASCULAR DISEASE PROGRAM IN

THE DEPARTMENT OF HEALTH.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:

     Section 1. APPROPRIATION.--Seventy thousand dollars ($70,000) is appropriated from the general fund to the department of health for expenditure in fiscal year 2005 to establish a statewide cardiovascular disease program,

including data collection and recommendations on management of heart disease, stroke and the automated external defibrillator program. Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of fiscal year 2005 shall revert to the general fund.
