AN ACT

MAKING AN APPROPRIATION TO CONTINUE FUNDING FOR THE NEW MEXICO MAINSTREET PROGRAM.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:

     Section 1. APPROPRIATION.--Four hundred twenty-five thousand dollars ($425,000) is appropriated from the general fund to the economic development department for expenditure in fiscal year 2005 to provide funding to maintain funding levels and implement new initiatives for the New Mexico mainstreet program. Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of fiscal year 2005 shall revert to the general fund.
