AN ACT

MAKING AN APPROPRIATION TO THE BOARD OF REGENTS OF NEW MEXICO STATE UNIVERSITY FOR THE UNITED STATES-MEXICO CONFLICT RESOLUTION CENTER.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:

     Section 1. APPROPRIATION.--One hundred thousand dollars ($100,000) is appropriated from the general fund to the board of regents of New Mexico state university for expenditure in fiscal year 2005 to support the work of the United States-Mexico conflict resolution center relating to water mediation and cross-border trade. Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of fiscal year 2005 shall revert to the general fund.
