AN ACT

MAKING AN APPROPRIATION FOR THE PURPOSE OF INSTALLING A VIDEO SERIES TARGETED AT MIDDLE SCHOOL STUDENTS ON THE PUBLIC EDUCATION DEPARTMENT'S WEB SITE.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:

     Section 1. APPROPRIATION.--Two hundred fifty-two thousand dollars ($252,000) is appropriated from the general fund to the public education department for expenditure in fiscal year 2005 to install a video series on the department's web site targeted at middle school students to motivate them toward careers that require trained employees. Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of fiscal year 2005 shall revert to the general fund.
