46TH LEGISLATURE - SECOND SESSION - 2004

REQUESTED BY Debbie A. Rodella

FOR CAPITAL IMPROVEMENT PROJECTS FOR THE CUMBRES AND TOLTEC SCENIC RAILROAD IN RIO ARRIBA COUNTY.

I request that the following capital outlay projects be funded:

• to the Cumbres and Toltec scenic railroad commission

four hundred thousand dollars ($400,000) to rebuild locomotive 489 for the Cumbres and Toltec scenic railroad in Rio Arriba county;

five hundred thousand dollars ($500,000) for a track upgrade for the Cumbres and Toltec scenic railroad in Rio Arriba county;

one hundred eighty thousand dollars ($180,000) to develop and implement a master plan for the Cumbres and Toltec scenic railroad in Rio Arriba county;

three hundred thousand dollars ($300,000) to rehabilitate the Chama depot of the Cumbres and Toltec scenic railroad in Rio Arriba county;

eighty thousand dollars ($80,000) to rehabilitate the water tank of the Cumbres and Toltec scenic railroad in Rio Arriba county; and

one hundred thousand dollars ($100,000) to rehabilitate a passenger car for the Cumbres and Toltec scenic railroad in Rio Arriba county.
