FOR SCIENCE FACILITIES IMPROVEMENTS AND EQUIPMENT ACQUISITIONS IN PUBLIC SCHOOLS STATEWIDE TO SUPPORT THE IMPLEMENTATION OF CURRENT STATE AND FEDERAL EDUCATION MANDATES.

I request that the following capital outlay project be funded:

• to the public education department

twenty-five million dollars ($25,000,000) for improvements and equipment acquisitions at science laboratories, classrooms and facilities in public schools statewide to support the implementation of current state and federal education mandates.
