HOUSE CAPITAL OUTLAY REQUEST 850

STATE OF NEW MEXICO

46TH LEGISLATURE - SECOND SESSION - 2004

REQUESTED BY W. Ken Martinez

FOR CAPITAL PROJECTS IN THE LAKE VALLEY CHAPTER OF THE NAVAJO NATION IN SAN JUAN COUNTY.

I request that the following capital outlay projects be funded:

• to the New Mexico office of Indian affairs

one hundred thousand dollars ($100,000) to renovate the old head start building into a boys' and girls' club building in the Lake Valley chapter of the Navajo Nation in San Juan county; and

two hundred twelve thousand dollars ($212,000) for bathroom additions to homes in the Lake Valley chapter of the Navajo Nation in San Juan county.
