STATE OF NEW MEXICO

46TH LEGISLATURE - SECOND SESSION - 2004

REQUESTED BY W. Ken Martinez

FOR CAPITAL PROJECTS FOR THE PUEBLO OF LAGUNA IN BERNALILLO, CIBOLA AND SANDOVAL COUNTIES.

I request that the following capital outlay projects be funded:

• to the New Mexico office of Indian affairs

eighty-three thousand eight hundred twenty-eight dollars ($83,828) for improvements for the Paraje and Encinal wash project at the Pueblo of Laguna in Bernalillo, Cibola and Sandoval counties;

fifty-eight thousand four hundred seven dollars ($58,407) for improvements to the Paguate community ditch irrigation pipeline project in the Pueblo of Laguna in Bernalillo, Cibola and Sandoval counties;

eighty thousand dollars ($80,000) for design and construction of improvements, including installing a branch sewer main, manholes and other appurtenances, for the New York village community in the Pueblo of Laguna in Bernalillo, Cibola and Sandoval counties;

one hundred thousand dollars ($100,000) for improvements, including a liner, to the new Laguna housing community facultative lagoon project for the Pueblo of Laguna in Bernalillo, Cibola and Sandoval counties;

one hundred twenty thousand dollars ($120,000) to plan and construct improvements, including a liner, for the north Mesita village community facultative lagoon project at the Pueblo of Laguna in Bernalillo, Cibola and Sandoval counties;

five hundred thousand dollars ($500,000) to plan, design and construct an integrated justice center for detention, police and court space for the Pueblo of Laguna in Bernalillo, Cibola and Sandoval counties; and

seven million seventy-six thousand four hundred dollars ($7,076,400) to plan, design, construct, furnish and equip a head start facility for the Pueblo of Laguna in Bernalillo, Cibola and Sandoval counties.
