HOUSE CAPITAL OUTLAY REQUEST 862

FOR CAPITAL PROJECTS IN THE NAVAJO NATION IN SAN JUAN AND MCKINLEY COUNTIES.

I request that the following capital outlay projects be funded:

• to the New Mexico office of Indian affairs

seventy-seven thousand four hundred dollars ($77,400) to establish a Navajo veterans' transportation system in the Navajo Nation in San Juan and McKinley counties;

one million seven hundred fifty thousand dollars ($1,750,000) to provide housing for Navajo veterans in the Navajo Nation in San Juan and McKinley counties;

fifty thousand dollars ($50,000) for infrastructure development of the Crownpoint agency sub-office building project of the Navajo Nation department of Navajo veterans' affairs in McKinley county; and

thirty thousand dollars ($30,000) to purchase and install computers, printers and a local server for the Borrego Pass school in the Crownpoint chapter of the Navajo Nation in McKinley county.
