46TH LEGISLATURE - SECOND SESSION - 2004

REQUESTED BY Rhonda S. King

FOR CAPITAL IMPROVEMENTS FOR SCHOOLS IN HOUSE DISTRICT 50 IN TORRANCE, BERNALILLO AND SANTA FE COUNTIES.

I request that the following capital outlay projects be funded:

• to the public education department

fifty thousand dollars ($50,000) for educational technology in the Estancia municipal school district in Torrance county;

five hundred thousand dollars ($500,000) to construct a performing arts theater at Moriarty high school in the Moriarty municipal school district in Torrance county;

one hundred thousand dollars ($100,000) for educational technology at Manzano high school in the Albuquerque public school district in Bernalillo county;

fifty thousand dollars ($50,000) for educational technology at A. Montoya elementary school in the Albuquerque public school district in Bernalillo county;

one hundred ninety thousand dollars ($190,000) for educational technology at Roosevelt middle school in the Albuquerque public school district in Bernalillo county;

fifty thousand dollars ($50,000) for educational technology at Turquoise Trail elementary school in the Santa Fe public school district in Santa Fe county; and

seventy-five thousand dollars ($75,000) for educational technology in the Mountainair public school district in Torrance county.
