STATE OF NEW MEXICO

46TH LEGISLATURE - SECOND SESSION - 2004

REQUESTED BY Carroll H. Leavell

FOR CAPITAL IMPROVEMENTS FOR THE CARLSBAD SOIL AND WATER CONSERVATION DISTRICT IN EDDY COUNTY.

I request that the following capital outlay projects be funded:

• to the board of regents of New Mexico state university

forty-six thousand dollars ($46,000) to make system improvements, including replacing pipes and valves, for the Happy Valley irrigation project in the Carlsbad soil and water conservation district in Eddy county; and

one hundred twenty-five thousand dollars ($125,000) for phase 2 remodeling, including constructing offices, electrical upgrades and floors, of the Carlsbad soil and water conservation district building in Eddy county.
