46TH LEGISLATURE - SECOND SESSION - 2004

FOR CAPITAL IMPROVEMENTS AT THE NEW MEXICO INSTITUTE OF MINING AND TECHNOLOGY IN SOCORRO IN SOCORRO COUNTY.

I request that the following capital outlay projects be funded:

• to the board of regents of New Mexico institute of mining and technology

one million dollars ($1,000,000) for infrastructure improvements at the New Mexico institute of mining and technology in Socorro in Socorro county;

five hundred thousand dollars ($500,000) to plan, design and construct a physical education facility at the New Mexico institute of mining and technology in Socorro in Socorro county;

seven hundred thousand dollars ($700,000) to plan, design and construct a facility for the New Mexico bureau of geology at the New Mexico institute of mining and technology in Socorro in Socorro county;

three million five hundred thousand dollars ($3,500,000) to renovate Jones and Kelly halls at the New Mexico institute of mining and technology in Socorro in Socorro county; and

two million dollars ($2,000,000) to plan, design, construct and equip the Joseph A. Fidel student services center at the New Mexico institute of mining and technology in Socorro in Socorro county.
