SENATE CAPITAL OUTLAY REQUEST 596

STATE OF NEW MEXICO

46TH LEGISLATURE - SECOND SESSION - 2004

REQUESTED BY Gay G. Kernan

FOR CAPITAL PROJECTS IN ROOSEVELT COUNTY.

I request that the following capital outlay projects be funded:

• to the department of transportation

four hundred thousand dollars ($400,000) to purchase road maintainers for building and maintaining roads in Roosevelt county; and

four hundred thousand dollars ($400,000) to repair county roads in Roosevelt county; and

• to the local government division of the department of finance and administration

nine hundred five thousand dollars ($905,000) to repair and upgrade facilities at the fairgrounds in Roosevelt county; and

sixty-five thousand dollars ($65,000) for an additional meeting room at the extension office in Roosevelt county.
