SENATE CAPITAL OUTLAY REQUEST 599

STATE OF NEW MEXICO

46TH LEGISLATURE - SECOND SESSION - 2004

REQUESTED BY Gay G. Kernan

FOR CAPITAL PROJECTS IN PORTALES IN ROOSEVELT COUNTY.

I request that the following capital outlay projects be funded:

• to the department of transportation

one hundred thousand dollars ($100,000) for street improvements, including improving the curb and gutter, between Fourth and Eighteenth streets in Portales in Roosevelt county;

fifty thousand dollars ($50,000) to plan, design and improve Kilgore street in Portales in Roosevelt county; and

one hundred thousand dollars ($100,000) to purchase equipment for the public parks department in Portales in Roosevelt county; and

• to the local government division of the department of finance and administration

eighty thousand dollars ($80,000) to remodel and equip the enterprise center in Portales in Roosevelt county.
