REQUESTED BY John Pinto

FOR PRECONSTRUCTION DEVELOPMENT ACTIVITIES FOR THE NAVAJO NATION AND SEVEN NAVAJO CHAPTERS IN SAN JUAN AND MCKINLEY COUNTIES.

I request that the following capital outlay project be funded:

• to the New Mexico office of Indian affairs

seven hundred fifty thousand dollars ($750,000) for site planning, land withdrawals, surveys, environmental assessments, archaeological clearances and architectural and engineering services for economic development ventures for the Navajo Nation and the Baca, Prewitt, Crownpoint, Manuelito, Nageezi, Pinedale, Pueblo Pintado and Thoreau chapters in San Juan and McKinley counties.
