SENATE CAPITAL OUTLAY REQUEST 901

STATE OF NEW MEXICO

46TH LEGISLATURE - SECOND SESSION - 2004

REQUESTED BY Ben D. Altamirano

FOR CAPITAL IMPROVEMENTS FOR BAYARD IN GRANT COUNTY.

I request that the following capital outlay projects be funded:

• to the department of environment

five hundred thousand dollars ($500,000) for the regional wastewater treatment plant phase 2 effluent reuse project in Bayard in Grant county;

three hundred ninety thousand dollars ($390,000) for a water transmission line in Bayard in Grant county; and

three hundred seventy-five thousand dollars ($375,000) for the drilling of new water wells in Bayard in Grant county; and

• to the local government division of the department of finance and administration

fifty thousand dollars ($50,000) for upgrade and replacement of equipment and technology in the municipal offices in Bayard in Grant county;

four hundred thousand dollars ($400,000) for expansion of the municipal offices in Bayard in Grant county;

two hundred fifty thousand dollars ($250,000) to plan, design, construct and equip a veterans' memorial park in Bayard in Grant county; and

fifty thousand dollars ($50,000) for the purchase of new equipped police vehicles for Bayard in Grant county.
