SENATE CAPITAL OUTLAY REQUEST

FOR CAPITAL PROJECTS
IN
I request that the following capital
outlay projects be funded:
• to the department of transportation
twenty thousand dollars ($20,000) to
repair the railroad crossing at state highway 285 at the entrance to the
Roswell industrial air center in Roswell in Chaves county; and
five thousand dollars ($5,000) for
acquisition of a right of way at north Garden avenue and Summit street in
Roswell in Chavez county;
•
to the local government division of the department of finance and
administration
ten thousand dollars ($10,000) to plan,
design and replace the heating, ventilation and air conditioning system in the
museum in
ten thousand dollars ($10,000) to install
lighting for the Cielo Grande hike and bike trail in
ten thousand dollars ($10,000) to
construct a skate park at the Cielo Grande recreation area in
twenty thousand dollars ($20,000) to
plan, design and do utility work for phase 1 of the special events center at
the Cielo Grande recreation area;
one hundred thousand dollars ($100,000)
for design and construction of the final phase of a new archive building for
the historical society for southwest New Mexico in Roswell in Chaves county;
and
fifty thousand dollars ($50,000) to plan,
design and install a records management system and digital conversion for the
police department in
