FOR THE LEGISLATIVE HEALTH AND HUMAN SERVICES COMMITTEE

AN ACT

MAKING AN APPROPRIATION TO THE UNIVERSITY OF NEW MEXICO TO ENHANCE THE NEW MEXICO HEALTH SCIENCES CENTER LIBRARY AND TO SUPPORT MAINTENANCE OF INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY SERVICES.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:

     Section 1. APPROPRIATION.--Six hundred sixty thousand dollars ($660,000) is appropriated from the general fund to the board of regents of the university of New Mexico for expenditure in fiscal year 2006 to enhance the New Mexico health sciences center library and to support maintenance of information technology services. Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of fiscal year 2006 shall revert to the general fund.
