FOR THE LEGISLATIVE HEALTH AND HUMAN SERVICES COMMITTEE

AN ACT

MAKING AN APPROPRIATION TO THE UNIVERSITY OF NEW MEXICO FOR A BASE ADJUSTMENT TO THE NEW MEXICO HEALTH SCIENCES CENTER COMPLIANCE PROGRAM.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:

     Section 1. APPROPRIATION.--Six hundred seventy-two thousand three hundred dollars ($672,300) is appropriated from the general fund to the board of regents of the university of New Mexico for expenditure in fiscal year 2006 for a base adjustment to the New Mexico health sciences center compliance program. Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of fiscal year 2006 shall revert to the general fund.
