Mr. Speaker:

 

    Your JUDICIARY COMMITTEE, to whom has been referred

 

HOUSE BILL 460, as amended

 

has had it under consideration and reports same with recommendation that it DO PASS, amended as follows:

 

    1. On page 6, line 10, strike the second occurrence of "Fees" and insert in lieu thereof:

 

         "A. Except as provided in Subsection B of this section, fees".

 

    2. On page 6, line 13, strike the subsection designation "A." and insert in lieu thereof the paragraph designation "(1)".

 

    3. On page 6, line 23, strike the subsection designation "B." and insert in lieu thereof the paragraph designation "(2)".

 

    4. On page 7, line 1, strike the subsection designation "C." and insert in lieu thereof the paragraph designation "(3)".

 

    5. On page 7, line 6, strike the subsection designation "D." and insert in lieu thereof the paragraph designation "(4)".

 

    6. On page 7, line 11, after the semicolon insert "and".

 

    7. On page 7, line 12, strike the subsection designation "E." and insert in lieu thereof the paragraph designation "(5)".

 

    8. On page 7, line 14, strike "; and" and insert in lieu thereof a period. 

 

    9. On page 7, strike lines 15 through 18 and insert in lieu thereof the following new subsection:

 

         "B. If fees are collected by the department of game and fish pursuant to Paragraph (1) of Subsection A, Paragraph (1) of Subsection B or Paragraphs (1) and (3) of Subsection C of Section 66-3-1004 NMSA 1978, seven dollars ($7.00) shall be deposited in the game protection fund, five dollars ($5.00) to the division, and the money is appropriated to the division to defray the cost of making and issuing registration certificates, validating stickers and nonresident permits for off-highway motor vehicles, and the remaining five dollars ($5.00) shall be deposited in the motor vehicle suspense fund for distribution pursuant to Section 66-6-23 NMSA 1978."".

 

    10. On page 14, line 19, strike “under the age of eighteen”.,

 

and thence referred to the APPROPRIATIONS AND FINANCE COMMITTEE.
