AN ACT

MAKING AN APPROPRIATION TO THE TOURISM DEPARTMENT FOR A NEW MEXICO GOLF TOURNAMENT.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:

     Section 1. APPROPRIATION.--Two hundred fifty thousand dollars ($250,000) is appropriated from the general fund to the tourism department for expenditure in fiscal year 2006 to develop, market and advertise, in conjunction with the New Mexico athletic commission, a New Mexico golf tournament along the Santa Fe trail and throughout the rest of the land of enchantment. Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of fiscal year 2006 shall revert to the general fund.
