AN ACT

MAKING AN APPROPRIATION TO OPERATE NEW MEXICO STATE UNIVERSITY'S 1-M TELESCOPE.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:

     Section 1. APPROPRIATION.--One hundred twenty-six thousand dollars ($126,000) is appropriated from the general fund to the board of regents of New Mexico state university for expenditure in fiscal year 2006 to pay the operating expenses of the 1-m telescope. Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of fiscal year 2006 shall revert to the general fund.
