AN ACT

MAKING AN APPROPRIATION FOR PREGNANT WOMEN'S SERVICES IN DONA ANA COUNTY.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:

     Section 1. APPROPRIATION.--One hundred sixty thousand dollars ($160,000) is appropriated from the general fund to the department of health for expenditure in fiscal year 2006 to provide services to low-income, uninsured, high-risk pregnant women in Dona Ana county. Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of fiscal year 2006 shall revert to the general fund.
