AN ACT

MAKING AN APPROPRIATION TO ESTABLISH AND IMPLEMENT A MATHEMATICAL EDUCATIONAL SPECIALIST PROGRAM AT EASTERN NEW MEXICO UNIVERSITY.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:

     Section 1. APPROPRIATION.--Sixty-five thousand dollars ($65,000) is appropriated from the general fund to the board of regents of eastern New Mexico university for expenditure in fiscal year 2006 to establish and implement a mathematical educational specialist program. Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of fiscal year 2006 shall revert to the general fund.
