AN ACT

MAKING AN APPROPRIATION TO THE CULTURAL AFFAIRS DEPARTMENT TO ANALYZE AND REPORT ON THE ARCHAEOLOGICAL WORK FOR THE PALACE OF THE GOVERNORS' PROJECT.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:

     Section 1. APPROPRIATION.--One hundred thousand dollars ($100,000) is appropriated from the general fund to the cultural affairs department for expenditure in fiscal year 2006 to analyze and report on the archaeological work for the palace of the governors' project. Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of fiscal year 2006 shall revert to the general fund.
