AN ACT

RELATING TO PUBLIC PURCHASES; PROVIDING THAT NEW MEXICO WINE BE CARRIED BY VENDORS DOING BUSINESS WITH THE STATE.

 

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:

     Section 1. A new section of the Procurement Code is enacted to read:

     "[NEW MATERIAL] STATE VENDORS--AVAILABILITY OF NEW MEXICO WINE.--A vendor who holds a liquor license or license to sell wine and who does business with the state shall carry wine for sale that is made in New Mexico and made from grapes grown in New Mexico."
