SENATE BILL 161

has had it under consideration and reports same with recommendation that it DO PASS, amended as follows:

    1. On page 2, line 11, after "of" insert "lower division".

    2. On page 2, line 12, after "courses" insert "of at least thirty-five hours".

    3. On page 3, line 8, strike "all".

    4. On page 3, line 19, strike "up to" and insert in lieu thereof "approximately".

    5. On page 4, strike line 6 up through "of".

    6. On page 4, line 17, strike "not to exceed" and insert in lieu thereof "of approximately".

    7. On page 4, line 20, strike "an upper-division" and insert in lieu thereof "a four-year".

    8. On page 4, lines 21 through 25, strike Subsection G up to the quotation marks.

    9. On page 5, line 13, after "module" insert "or acceptance of a course that is part of a transfer module.".

    10. On page 5, line 13, remove the beginning bracket and the line through "An" and remove the line through lines 14 and 15.

    11. On page 5, line 15, after "requirements" insert "not included in a discipline module".

    12. On page 5, remove the line through lines 16 through 18.

    13. On page 5, line 25, after the end bracket, strike the remainder of the line and on page 6, strike line 1.

    14. On page 6, line 6, after the first occurrence of "a" insert "completed".

    15. On page 7, line 12, strike from "If" to the end of the line and insert in lieu thereof:

    "When a module becomes effective as provided in Subsection F of Section 21-1B-6 NMSA 1978, if a student's articulation complaint regarding courses contained in a module is upheld,".

    16. On page 8, lines 15 and 16, strike both occurrences of "taken" and insert in lieu thereof "earned".

    17. On page 9, line 2, after "to" strike the remainder of the line up to the period and insert in lieu thereof "those complaints".,

and thence referred to the FINANCE COMMITTEE.
