    Your CONSUMER AND PUBLIC AFFAIRS COMMITTEE, to whom has been referred

 

SENATE BILL 233, as amended

 

has had it under consideration and reports same with recommendation that it DO PASS, amended as follows:

 

1. Strike Senate Judiciary Committee Amendment 2.

 

     2. On page 29, line 5, after the period insert "If a child is not in custody or detention, a petition shall not be dismissed for failure to comply with the time limit set forth in this subsection unless there is a showing of prejudice to the child.".,

 

and thence referred to the JUDICIARY COMMITTEE.
