    1. On page 137, between lines 12 and 13, insert the following new section:

    "Section 57. A new section of the Abuse and Neglect Act is enacted to read:

    "[NEW MATERIAL] DUTIES OF EMPLOYEES.--All employees of the department shall be trained in their legal duties to protect the constitutional and statutory rights of children and families from the initial time of contact, during the investigation and throughout any treatment."".

    2. Renumber the succeeding sections accordingly.
