AN ACT

MAKING AN APPROPRIATION FOR A STATEWIDE GANG AND DRUG CONFERENCE.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:

     Section 1. APPROPRIATION.--Thirty thousand dollars ($30,000) is appropriated from the general fund to the public education department for expenditure in fiscal year 2006 for the Gadsden independent school district to hold a statewide conference on gangs and drugs. Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of fiscal year 2006 shall revert to the general fund.
